Nora pays a lot of attention to order now, both to physical order (putting things in order) and to order in time (we’ll do this first, then that.)

Nora started saying long sentences; today she said thhis one in Hungarian: “The firemen opened Samantha’s car.”  She also switches languages in the middle of the sentence if she is talking to me but she said or will say something in English to an English speaking person.  For example: Meg fogom kerdezni Taffy nenit “Do you have a big belly”? (I am going to ask Ms. Taffy ….)

Nori egyre hosszabb  mondatokat mond.  Ma ezt mondta tokeletesen: A tuzoltobacsik kinyitottak Samantha kocsijat. Sokszor nyelvet is valt a mondat kozepen ha hozzam beszel, de valamit mondott vagy mondani fog egy angolul beszelo embernek.  Pl. Meg fogom kerdezni Taffy nenit “Do you have a big belly”? (Nagy a pocid?)

Nora started asking us Why?

Nori elkezdte a Miert? korszakat.

I was an excellent student today! I enjoyed meeting and talking to Piper (Ms. Angie’s dog). I also used our “magic” wand to count to 10.

I also gave thought to speaking nicely to peers. Instead of “mine!” I can say “Please wait, it’s my turn now.”

Nora freaked out today when I told her that I was going to have fish for lunch.  She said: “Mami, please don’t eat my (gold)fish.”

Nori nagyon megijedt, amikor azt mondtam neki, hogy halat eszem ebedre.  Azt mondta: “Mami, ne edd meg az (arany) halaimat”.

Nora started referring to past events today.

Nora ma elmult esemenyekrol tudott beszelni.

…in Hungarian: “I don’t know it exactly” when I asked her a question.

…”Nem tudom pontosan.” amikor kerdeztem tole valamit.

Nora got a flu shot today from Ms. Peggy. Nora started referring to her as Ms. Piggy.

Nori inluenza oltast kapott ma Peggy nenitol.  Nori Ms. Piggy-nek (Malac neninek) nevezte el ot.

Nora reached 25 pounds today – she is 28.5 months old.

Nori 25 fontot ert ma el – 28,5 honaposan.  (12,6kg)

I was an excellent student today! I enjoyed drawing curves and circles with shaving cream, building sand castles and drinking purple milk.

I also gave some thought to following directions. I adventured into the gym alone today when I was sent to was my hands. My friend Brody joined me. Ms. Angie had us sit out.
