Hungarian Playdate / Magyar Jatszohaz

Today we hosted a Hungarian playgroup.  This was the 3rd time at our house and we had 8 children this time.  I had planned a “Spring” topic for the day and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful spring day.  After talking a bit about how plants grow and the butterfly life cycle, the children planted flower seeds on the porch and they played in the backyard.  We even had a pot luck lunch together.  Nora and all the other children had a good time and it was wonderful to listen to their Hungarian talking.  Here are pictures from the day.

Ma egy magyar Jatszohaz volt nalunk, mar a harmadik alkalommal.  8 gyerek jott ezalkalommal.  A nap temajanak a tavaszt valasztottam, es meg megrendelni sem tudtunk volna egy szebb tavaszi napot.  Miutan egy kicsit beszelgettunk arrol, hogy mikent nonek a novenyek es hogy lesz a hernyobol pillango, a teraszon sok gyerek viragokat ultetett, majd jatszottak.  Meg ebedeltunk is egyutt; mindenki hozott valamit ebedre.  Norika es a tobbi gyerek is nagyon jol erezte magat es olyan jo volt hallgatni ahogy magyarul beszeltek egymassal.  Itt vannak kepek a naprol.
