We’ve been hearing some cute phrases from Nora that are said incorrectly but they make sense.  Here are 2 of them:

A few days ago she asked Daddy if we had any BUMBLE gum (instead of bubble gum).

Today we told her that we were going to go to an outdoor party, a festival.  A few minutes later she told us that we should leave for the VEGETABLE (festival) party.

Norika mostanában néha hibásan mond ki egy-egy angol kifejezést, de igy is van értelmük.  Leforditva nem olyan érdekes, de ha magyarul mond majd ilyet azt is leirom.

Nora received her first computer today. We’ve only loaded some easy games on it. From the pictures it is pretty obvious how much she enjoyed the coloring game.

Norika ma kapott egy kompjutert amibe csak néhány egyszerű játékot töltöttünk be. A képekből kiderül, hogy mennyire élvezte a szinezős játékot.

Mami decided to take pictures of the backyard now, close to the beginning of the summer. She’ll take the same pictures in a few weeks again when the plants have grown.

Mami úgy döntött, hogy lefényképezi a hátsó kertet most, hogy a nyár már nagyon közel van. Néhany hét múlva, amikor a növények már nőttek, újra lefényképezi majd ezeket.

Nora’s first year of school is over – what a wonderful experience she and us had!!! She definately thinks that school is the most awesome thing to go to. The school held a picnic party for all attending children at our neighborhhod park. Please view the slide show about the event here. (Attention: it’s a large file.)

Nórika első óvodai éve befejeződött. Mindnyájunknak rendkivűli jó élmény volt ez az év. Egy pikniket tartottak minden résztvevő családnak a szomszédságunkban lévő parkban. Kérem tekintsétek meg a diavetitést erről a programról itt. (Figyelmeztetés: nagyon nagy fájl.)

Last Friday we stopped at a yard sale in our neighborhood where I found a pair of roller skates for Nora. She got very excited and tried them on right away. To my surprise she knew exactly what to do in them and we went for a walk. On Saturday she put them on, went in the backyard and in a few minutes she was sitting on top of the slide. She managed to slide down and she also finished her act with a tumble on the lawn. See pictures of her in the gallery.

Nóri pénteken kapott egy pár használt görkorcsolyát aminek nagyon megörült. Otthon rögtön fel is próbálta és azonnal tudta hogy kell használni, igy elmentünk benne sétálni is. Szombaton felvette, kiment a kertbe, és perceken belül a csúszdája tetején találtuk. Valahogy sikerült neki lecsúsznia és még ezt betetézte egy bukfenccel is a füvön. A galériában van sok kép róla.

Nora was very glad to move into her big girl room, but we needed her to sleep in her old room for a few days while I painted the new one. We have involved her in the choosing of the new furniture, bedding and the color of the room too. So as of today her walls are painted, I’ve put the wall stickers up on the ceiling and we found curtains that matched in color perfectly. The only things left are the top molding and some white shelves on the walls.

Norika nagyon örült, hogy beköltözhetett az új szobájába. Azonban meg kellett kérnünk, hogy amig a szoba falát festettem aludjon a régi szobájában. Az új szobája kialakitásában végig az ő véleményét is figyelembe vettük, segitett bútort, ágyneműt és a fal festék szinét is kiválasztani. A mai nappal elkészült a festés, függönyt is találtunk, és már csak egy szegélyt fogunk a a plafon alá tenni és néhany polcot a falra.

In Hungary the first Sunday in May is Mother’s Day. The Hungarian Club of Colorado had a Mother’s Day event with 23 children performing in it. Nora was also part of it, and although she got very tired by the time the program actually started she did perform her poem with 2 other little girls. The program was lovely.

A Magyar Klub keretében megrendezett Anyák napi ünnepségen 22 másik gyerek között Nórika is előadott egy verset. A program nagyon szépen sikerült.
