The City of Brighton recently put in a Frisbee golf park located less than a 3 minute drive from our house.

Today was sunny enough (lower 50’s and a little windy) so we head out. Nora even got a few throws in!

Leaning some of life’s fundamentals on the Nintendo..,

Nora and I went to Madagascar2 on Sunday. Not quite as good as the first, but a good outing. Nora stayed for the credits so she could dance to the “move it move it” song.

Sunday morning project

In this busy life we all live these days, it’s often hard to stop and jot down the precious events that happen. This blog was supposed to do that, but of course, taking the time to write in it hasn’t happened much. I’ll try to make a better effort to jot down at least one thing per week. I will need embarrassing stories for when Nora gets older and I need some leverage!

Nórika nagyon szereti Bartos Erika és Marék Veronika könyveit. Mindketten rendkívül jól írnak (és rajzolnak) ennek a korosztálynak. Miután elolastunk néhányat ezek közül, kérdeztem Nórit, hogy nem akar-e rajzolni. Elővette a rajzeszközeit, de nem tudta, hogy mit rajzoljon. Javasoltam, hogy a csúnya kislányt (Marék Veronika könyvéből.) Nóri magához vette a könyvet, majd ezzel a rajzzal jött vissza; nekem a legjobban a szempillák tetszenek.

Nora has a few favorite Hungarian writers whose books she loves to revisit. After reading some of these today she drew the above picture of one of the characters, the ugly girl. I love the eyelashes.
